How to cancel or reschedule your appointment: To cancel or reschedule your pet’s appointment, please call us at (703) 680-4000. If you do not reach a receptionist, you may leave a detailed message including your first and last name, the name of your pet, and the date/time of your pet’s appointment on our voicemail; we will return your call promptly. You may also send us a text message through either of our pet portals available to you through our website.
Late cancellations: A cancellation will be considered late when the appointment is canceled without 24-hour advance notice.
Appointment late cancellation/no-show policy: A no-show is a client who misses an appointment without canceling it. Failure to be present at the time of a scheduled appointment will be recorded in the patient’s chart as a no-show; this includes arriving 15 minutes after your scheduled appointment.
The first time there is a no-show or late cancellation there will be no charge to the client. A 2nd occurrence will result in you being charged a cancellation/no-show fee of $30.00. The 3rd occurrence will result in you being charged the cost of the type of exam and time allotted for your pet’s appointment; Annual/Sick Exam – $60.00, Booster/Follow up Exam – $30.00.
Grooming late cancellation/no-show policy: Because there is a limited amount of grooming appointments available in a day, all late cancellations or no-shows will result in a $30.00 fee. This fee is not reimbursable and is required to be paid prior to rescheduling your pet’s groom or any future appointments.
Surgical procedure late cancellation/no-show policy: Surgical and dental procedures are done on specific days of the week. Because there is a limit on the number of surgeries/dental procedures that can be done on those days, any late cancellation or no-show will be charged a fee of $75.00. This fee is not reimbursable and is required to be paid prior to rescheduling your pet’s procedure or any future appointments.
