Meet the friendly staff at Minnieville Animal Hospital!
Dr. Lori Greenwood grew up in northern Virginia where, as a teenager, she worked as a manager, technician, and receptionist at Minnieville Animal Hospital. She received a bachelors of science degree in Biology at Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina, where she graduated with foreign language honors in Spanish.
Dr. Yong Chang attended the Kangwon National University of Veterinary Medicine in South Korea. After he studied in Korea, he finished his training program at the Veterinary Medicine of the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada. He obtained a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree through ECFVG program of AVMA in 2012. Since 2012, he has practiced in Georgia and Northen Virginia. Currently, he is licensed in California, Georgia, and Virginia. His main interest is in internal medicine and urgent care medicine.
Angie joined Minnieville Animal Hospital in 2005 as a Veterinary Assistant. She has a soft spot for rescues and senior pets. She has 2 dogs and 3 cats. Outside of her work at the animal hospital she dedicates her time to training animals.
Audrey joined our team in 2016 with a strong passion for animals. Growing up with her military family, shemoved to several places around the country and first found her love for animals on the coast of California exploring all the marine life. After moving to Virginia, Audrey started working at Minnieville Animal Hospital, where she rescued a pregnant Pit Bull who had 12 puppies and found them all good homes. Being the animal lover she is, she kept the mama, Daisy, and two of the puppies, Biscuit and Vader. Working at the clinic, she has been able to continue her passion with animals and hopes to further pursue a career in Veterinary Medicine.
Kevin has been working at Minnieville Animal Hospital since August of 2015, but overall has a total of 6 years experience working with animals. One of his strongest points are working patiently with animals who show fear and aggression. He is determined to help make your fur baby feel safe and comfortable during their visit. His love for animals definitely shows when he is able to befriend a pet that may have had a bad experience in the past at the vet.
Kelsi joined the Minnieville Animal Hospital family in August of 2011. She had a small amount of experience working at another animal hospital's kennel facility as a high schooler. She also has completed a dog behavior/training course. Over the years Kelsi has been with us, she has earned her Associates of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology Degree and will soon become a licensed Veterinary Technician. She also has two of her own fur babies at home, a 4 year old Jindo named 'Scully' and a 7 year old calico named 'Kitten'.
Jessica has always wanted to work with animals. Having had animals her entire life and constantly trying to bring home anything living she discovered dog grooming by shear accident. She has been grooming dogs for over 12 years now and is a Nationally Certified Master Groomer as well as a competitive and award winning groomer. Specializing in show grooming, hand stripping, rare breeds and cat grooming. She also likes long walks on the beach and hiking.
Originally from Long Island, New York; Kristi grew up loving animals unconditionally. After moving from New York to Virginia with her now Fiancée, Kristi came to us as a client originally. Even working at other local vet offices Kristi continued to bring her pets to Minnieville Animal Hospital. When the opportunity arose to take a position at her dream job, Kristi took it without hesitation, which also gave her the inspiration to begin her degree in Veterinary technology. Kristi has her own fur family at home which includes four German Shepherds and with her no cat left behind attitude she has rescued and made a home for many special felines!
Katie became a part of the Minnieville team in June of 2010 and absolutely loves working here. She started out as a receptionist and with her dedication to the hospital, she was very happy to take on the management position. Daily, Katie ensures that the practice operations run smoothly, handles inventory and helps maintain a positive work environment. She takes pride in balancing her 2 children and her work life. In her down time, she enjoys being outdoors and going on adventures with her kids.
Vickie joined the Minnieville Animal Hospital team in April of 2018 as a Receptionist. She currently has plans to study in the nursing field. She has always loved animals and has two dogs of her own, Luey and Scooby. She is a friendly and welcoming face here at Minnieville.
Alejandra has been with the Minnieville family since July of 2015. She has 3 dogs and 2 kitties that are all rescues. She loves spending time with animals and was a dedicated volunteer at the PWC animal shelter. Currently she is attending community college. Alejandra is originally from Bolivia and is fluent in English and Spanish. She hopes to continue working with animals throughout her life.
Chelsea has been working with the Minnieville team since August of 2016. She has been working as a receptionist but also has experience working as a veterinary assistant. Chelsea has been around animals since a young age, helping care for chickens, pigs, turkeys, and peacocks on her family’s farm. Her passion for animals has driven her to pursue a license in veterinary technology. In her free time she spends quality time with her boyfriend and their two dogs “Buckwheat” and “Kahlua”.
